Any big milestones since your wedding day?

Since our wedding Sara got her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and started a new career. We moved to Scotch Plains, NJ and bought a home, and we had our son, Sam, who is now 20 months old.

Favorite memory from your 1^st year of marriage:

It was a big year of weddings for us, so getting to celebrate our friends, several of whom actually got engaged the week of our wedding.

Have you learned anything new or surprising about your partner since you’ve gotten married?

Ben: Sara is able to fall asleep just about anywhere. She is also as dedicated a mom as there is.

Sara: All babies love Ben. He has a magical, calming power over them. He is also a completely devoted father, uncle, and son.

Piece of advice you’d give other people getting married:

If at all possible, avoid assembling furniture together, especially if it is from Ikea.
