My final wedding of 2017 was for the charming Katherine + Henryk. Their friends and family came from all corners of the globe to celebrate with them – Australia, Germany and Indonesia to name a few. After getting ready at the W Hoboken, they boarded a shuttle to City Hall in Manhattan. When they returned to Hoboken for their reception, they were greeted with a traditional German wedding game. A large heart was drawn on a sheet and Katherine and Henryk needed to cut the heart out before they could enter the venue. To make it more difficult and following tradition, they were given very small scissors to accomplish this task (I’m told to symbolize overcoming the first challenge in their new union). Once the heart was cut away, Henryk carried Katherine through the heart and they entered Bin 14 for a delectable meal and many toasts.
Congratulations! A wonderful wedding to end my 2017 wedding season!
