Mary Beth + Arjun’s wedding celebration at Hilton Pearl River in New York was a super-sized affair – 2 weddings in 1 day. Wanting to incorporate both of their religions – Hindu and Catholic – they opted to have 2 ceremonies. In the morning they donned traditional Indian wedding attire for the first half of the day’s festivities. While the ground was coated in a light layer of snow, it was slightly warmer than usual for February and they had their first look on the footbridge at the Hilton Pearl River. A drummer led Arjun’s Baraat to the ceremony location, with the hallway filled with wedding guests dancing him down. Their traditional Hindu ceremony took place on the beautifully decorated and adorned Mandap. It was a beautiful and colorful New York Indian wedding, with touches of snow to make it a perfect winter wedding.
