Emily + Dan’s fall wedding at Temple Emanu-El of Closter was the big bustling party that they dreamed of having to celebrate their marriage. I had the pleasure of photographing Emily’s sister’s wedding a few years ago and was so excited to be able to document another milestone for this wonderful family. Their traditional Jewish ceremony took place under the gorgeous stained-glass window in the sanctuary after signing their ketubah that Dan’s mother designed. The party got started with a massive hora and the dance floor remained packed the entire night. There were so many personal and heartfelt touches throughout the day – from the hair comb that both of Emily’s sisters wore at their own weddings to the thank you notes in each escort cards to the mezinka dance for Emily’s parents. It was such a fun wedding and I’m so honored I was able to be a part of it.
