Parenthood has a funny way of making time move differently. You’re pretty sure your squishy little newborn will always yawn with his whole entire body until he doesn’t anymore. That sweet way your toddler holds your pinkie feels like it’ll be imprinted onto your memory until it’s not. And you never know it’s the last time tucking your big kid into bed until it is.
It might not seem like it when you’re knee-deep in bedtime routines and bottle cleaning, but your babies are growing little by little every single day. Each new stage holds something amazing, yet sometimes you’d give anything to go back, even for a little while.

Adena is THE BEST. She has been taking photos of my family for 16 years and they are some of the most cherished photos we have. I LOVE looking back through our photos and watching my family grow right before my eyes. So grateful to have Adena in our lives throughout the years to capture these important times.

My approach to your family photography is to capture the little moments that build your day. It’s a style that straddles the natural authenticity of documentary with easy guidance and poses.
Whether our time together is 20 minutes or two hours, the goal is to capture your family at your best, naturally.
We’ve worked with Adena for many special moments — first our wedding, and now family photos with our baby. She has such a warm, easygoing presence that always makes us feel comfortable. She was so patient and fun with our little one (even when he kept trying to eat her camera!), and the photos beautifully show off the love and all our personalities.

I offer a variety of family sessions to fit into every schedule. We’ll pinpoint the perfect location for you (including in your own space!) and I’ll share easy tips to help you feel prepared.
Your Session
Instead of traditional posing, my family sessions are more easy going and simple. I’ll give you easy prompts that create natural reactions and smiles and work efficiently to keep everyone in a good mood.
Photo Delivery
Within 2 weeks, you’ll receive your fully edited images that are ready to download, share and print.

Adena took stunning wedding photos for us ten years ago, so it was an easy decision to ask her to take family photos.
