Lauren + Kevin’s Liberty House wedding had a very intimate and casual vibe. Living a stone’s throw away from Liberty State Park, the park has special meaning to the couple and literally feels like having the wedding in their own backyard. Since they would normally take the ferry over to the park when they go to work or jog in the park, it seemed only fitting that a quick ferry ride happen after they got ready together in their apt. The crew of the ferry was so kind, that they invited us to stay on the ferry longer than the 2 min trek from their apt to the park and to stay on the ferry while it made it’s NYC loop. How could we say no?
Their wedding ceremony took place outside against the NYC skyline, lit up against the night sky. Then the celebration continued – both inside and outside – with dancing and a family gathering sort of feel that was exactly what Lauren + Kevin wanted. While sharing one of their favorite places with friends and family, everyone got to enjoy celebrating their union and revel in their happiness.
