Kelsea + Scott were scheduled to be married on October 10, 2020 in California. Due to the pandemic, that plan changed but they still planned on being married on their original wedding date. A small casual zoom wedding was going to take place and no photographer had been hired.
We met the week before their wedding while I was photographing their friends’ Beth + Ryan’s wedding ceremony. Kelsea + Scott had offered Beth + Ryan use of their rooftop for their ceremony and while we chatted after the ceremony they mentioned their plans. I told them I was free if they decided they did want to take some photos and they took me up my offer! It may not have been the California wedding that they envisioned, but they will always now have photos of the day that they legally were married in the city where they live. And they will have the California celebration next year.
