When the Klein family asked me to go to Israel with them to photograph Sydney’s Bat Mitzvah celebration, I was beyond elated to join them on their trip. The eight days I spent with them documenting their trip were amazing. With so many photos to share, I have split their celebration into 2 blog posts. Today’s post focuses on the Bat Mitzvah party itself and family portraits. It’s not every day that I get to photograph people wearing dresses and riding camels—but that’s exactly what I got to see as the family rode   camels to the party site at Eretz Bereishit. The site was gorgeous, beautifully decorated by Save the Day Events. Family and friends danced in the desert air, entertained by a fire thrower. The night ended with a fantastic fireworks show.
