Getting to photograph an engagement session at the American Museum of Natural History with no one else around was pretty surreal. And Maria has now completely ruined the museum for me, as I only want to go back now with it empty to enjoy it 🙂 Working at the museum definitely has its perks and this was a pretty cool one. Maria + Genna and I had an hour to ourselves before the doors opened to the masses and took full advantage of some of their favorite exhibits. The Whale Room was one of our first stops. And I had to include the dinosaur shadows which is one of my favorite rooms. And of course the Bears. I loved the graphic architecture outside the Planetarium. After the museum we stepped across the street to Central Park, as their first date was in the park.

It was definitely one of the most unique locations I’ve had the privilege to shoot an engagement session.
