Genna + Maria are avid book readers. Literary lovers if you will. Not to mention that Genna is a librarian. So it was only appropriate for them to incorporate their love of books into many elements of their wedding at The Rockleigh. Their book inspried wedding had books incorporated in every detail: They used old library check out cards as RSVPs. The place cards doubled as bookmarks. The flowers on the tables rested on book-made pedestals and guests were encouraged to take the books home. Genna’s bouquet and the table flowers also had paper flowers mixed in with pages from both Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. And of course, there was a stack of books in their custom cake topper. The cake topper also listed all the places they had visited together as a couple and cute mini versions of the couple in their wedding attire. The personal touches continued with their wedding date on Maria’s cuff and cotton candy being made on site at the end of the reception – Genna’s favorite food. There was so much love and laughter throughout their wedding day and it was my honor to be their wedding photographer.
