Melissa + Ryan’s intimate wedding at The River Café had so many personal touches that made the day truly unique. Starting with the details that were on them – an engraved compass (“I trust you to lead the mission”) and Melissa’s engagement ring that resembles a compass. They love nature, so most of their portraits were taken amidst the greenery at the Teaneck Creek Conservancy before making their way to Brooklyn for their ceremony and celebration. All of their ceremony music was sci-fi/fantasy with their processional from Lord of the Rings and their recessional from Star Wars (along with lightsabers to conduct the music, of course). And as self-described foodies, delicious food was a major part of their celebration. It was such a pleasure getting to know Melissa and Ryan throughout the wedding planning and I was so happy they finally got to get married!
